With a first departure from Shinjuku, the bus takes you directly to various spots in Minakami. I took the Minakami Onsen line earlier to Tsukiyono Vidro Park. Let me show you some photos here on the bus lounge, bus interior &amp; exterior and service area so that you can have a better understanding on the bus. Please take a look.<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned earlier, the destination of my trip was Tsukiyono Vidro Park. It is a hidden spot with tons of excitement. I am going to introduce more in my article, let\u2019s check it out.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>9:45 Departed from Busta Shinjuku<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6196\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/50bc919ec2461d3884deef4df17ccc51.jpg\" alt=\"\u30d0\u30b9\u30bf\u65b0\u5bbf\" width=\"591\" height=\"443\"><\/p>\n<p>I arrived Shinjuku Station by the Yamanote line. The bus boarding place was in Busta Shinjuku (Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal), which was just at the other side of the pedestrian crossing after I exited from the south gate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6197\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/f6adb134110a3fc69fd8d406b41f8b87.jpg\" alt=\"\u30d0\u30b9\u30bf\u65b0\u5bbf\" width=\"599\" height=\"379\"><\/p>\n<p>The bus stop was on 4\/F. Inside the terminal building, there were lots of instructions written on the floor, walls and ceilings. There were other amenities, like toilet, convenience store and vending machines available for use. There was also bus announcement alerting you upon a bus arrived, so you could wait in the lounge until the last minute even in a cold day.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6202\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3c9bb1724f22d0cc82e6de08075aae25.jpg\" alt=\"\u307f\u306a\u304b\u307f\u6e29\u6cc9\u53f7\" width=\"591\" height=\"443\"><\/p>\n<p>At 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time, I heard an announcement and headed to the bus stop. Since it was a weekday, the bus was empty and I was able to pick my own seat.<\/p>\n<h3>Bus details<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6193\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3298f687fea74ffd3ed34ebfcfad4c63-1.jpg\" alt=\"\u307f\u306a\u304b\u307f\u6e29\u6cc9\u53f7\" width=\"591\" height=\"443\"><\/p>\n<p>Regarding the bus details, I checked with the bus driver and summarized as below.<\/p>\n<p>\u30fbInfants, to be accompanied by parents are allowed on board.<br \/>\n\u30fbFoldable baby strollers are permitted on board (only when seats are available.)<br \/>\n\u30fbFoldable wheelchairs are permitted on board (only when seats are available)<br \/>\n\u30fbLarge-size musical instruments are permitted on board (when seats are still available)<br \/>\n\u30fbPet carriers are allowed on the bus.<br \/>\n\u30fbBike, ski or snowboards can be stored in the trunk.<br \/>\n\u30fbNo on-board toilet (Bus will make a brief stop at service area for a restroom break)<br \/>\n\u30fbNo charging outlets on board.<br \/>\n\u30fbNo WIFI<\/p>\n<p>Since the bus is not equipped with WIFI nor charging outlets, you are recommended to bring your own portable WIFI and charging device. First I visited a huge plant which is a glass making factory where artisans were undergoing glass production and demonstration. From melting the raw materials in an extremely hot furnace, fusing to sandblasting, the whole process amazed me and I had nothing to say other than \u201cunbelievable\u201d.<br \/>\nThe park serves as one of the largest producers of handmade glass in Japan, and its glassware is also exported worldwide. I was more than satisfied to witness such sophisticated skills for free during the demonstration.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6211\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/00ff9189e8a280d19aa9851de55e0471-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\u4f53\u9a13\u5de5\u623f\" width=\"615\" height=\"352\"><\/p>\n<p>After the demonstration, I\u2019d love to try making my own glassware. At Tsukiyono Vidro Park, there were a variety of workshops, colored sand candles and stained glass making, music box making, etc. offered at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6212\" src=\"https:\/\/secure.j-bus.co.jp\/busrepo\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/f2e247b2df96029ed29e27a3a925b370.jpg\" alt=\"\u30b5\u30f3\u30c9\u30d6\u30e9\u30b9\u30c8\" width=\"591\" height=\"443\"><\/p>\n<p>This time I joined the sandblasting class. I was asked to pick my favorite shape of glass, put some stickers on it at my own design, and put it into a machine for sandblasting. After I went back home, just peeled off the stickers and my own glass was done. I was as excited as a child until seeing my own masterpiece completed.<\/p>\n<p>Just to mention, the most popular course was the glassblowing which reservation is required. It has been receiving positive feedback from those who purchased claiming that their cats are eating more than before.
