How to Get from Hiroshima Station to Kamiyacho-nishi<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

It takes approximately 15 minutes by tram from Hiroshima Station to Kamiyacho-nishi.<\/p>\r\n

However, trams can be delayed due to traffic congestion and traffic signals, so if you have a reserved highway bus, we recommend leaving Hiroshima Station at least one hour before your scheduled departure time.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

STEP 1. Head to the tram stop<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the past, some visitors found it difficult to find the tram stop from the JR ticket gates. However, since August 3, 2025, the tram stop has been relocated to the same 2nd-floor level as the JR ticket gates, making the transfer much easier to understand.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

STEP 2. Take Tram No. 2 or No. 6<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The destination of each tram is indicated by a number.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

There are two ways to travel from Hiroshima Station to Hiroshima Bus Center: by tram or by local bus.<\/p>\r\n

Local buses also operate directly to Hiroshima Bus Center. These buses stop on the same 3rd-floor level as the highway buses.<\/p>\r\n

There are two ways to get from Kamiyacho-nishi Tram Stop to Hiroshima Bus Center: \u201cthe route across the street\u201d and \u201cthe underground passage.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

Route A: Cross the street and head to the bus center (recommended during SOGO’s business hours)<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

After arriving at Kamiyacho-nishi, if you are coming from Hiroshima Station, head toward the front of the tram. If you are coming from Miyajima-guchi, head toward the rear of the tram.<\/p>\r\n

Cross the pedestrian crossing on the right and you will arrive at Hiroshima SOGO, where Hiroshima Bus Center is located. Enter the building and head to the 3rd floor, where Hiroshima Bus Center is located.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Route B: Use the underground passage (available even outside business hours)<\/h3>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Hiroshima SOGO is closed outside its business hours, so you cannot pass through the building. In this case, use Route B below.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

STEP 1. Enter the underground passage<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

At the end of the Kamiyacho-nishi tram platform, there is an entrance to the underground passage connected to the underground shopping area \u201cKamiyacho Shareo.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

STEP 3. Take the escalator to the 3rd floor<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
